When taking over from previous owners John and Rids Rowe in 2017, we discovered a barrel of Pinot Noir that John had been experimenting with. It had a ripe pinot flavour that was a little masked by oak. We decided to develop this by creating our own red pinot in stainless steel and blending the two. Sometime in 2018, we tasted the blend and decided it needed some time to develop, so the wine was tucked away and promptly forgotten until the summer of 2020. Tasting the wine then was a surprise. Choose Your Own Adventure

We've created a new audio tour of the vineyard. Small QR code signage has been placed in nine locations across the vineyard and winery to give site specific information about the vineyard, winemaking, flora and fauna plus some history of the site. It's easy to access - just scan the QR code with a smartphone to listen at your own pace. Pair with one of our new picnics for the perfect day out.

We're Growing!

We're Growing!

We're delighted to announce a partnership with Birling Estate in Kent, to plant 40 acres of vineyard on a part of their 1,800 acre holding through a shared farming contract. The new plantings at Birling will double the size of our current site enabling us to meet growing demand for our wine. Four varieties are set to be planted at Birling over the next two years, echoing our original vineyard site with Burgundian clones of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier for their flagship Pelegrim sparkling blend, as well as Ortega.
